A minor species first found in the outskirts of Oregon, it is now primarily grown on the West Coast, whose damp environment allows for each tree to have improved needle retention.

While this Christmas tree species is less full than others, the Noble Fir features lengthy, silky needles on sturdy branches that form a classic Christmas tree shape.
